on Mar 3rd, 200650th Golden Wedding Anniversary (A Chicken is Forever)

A Diamond is Forever, but a 50-year-old tin of chicken is golden! Talk about a strange, but intensely personal way to celebrate a 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. This couple received a tin of chicken in their “hamper” on their wedding day in 1956 and from that day on it remained on their cupboard shelf as a symbol of their everlasting love. Through all the arguments, laughs, and bad times, the chicken stood firm, with nary a peep. With Bird Flu rubber necking around the corner, though, this couple might have been better off saving their tin as part of their survival food. Congratulations!
