Kate Winslet is currently filming a romantic comedy called Holiday, directed by Nancy Meyers, who also directed Something’s Gotta Give with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. The plot centers on two women, both recently dumped, who strike up a friendship in a small English village.
In these shots, Kate Winslet is shown filming with Eli Wallach. Note the folded-up walker Kate’s carrying. Maybe Eli is feeling frisky and told her, “You carry the walker, I’m a new man!”
Lots of famous people in this independent movie, including Nikki Novak, who gets to play a “Beautiful Skinny Girl.” I wonder if she had to “stretch” for the role.
