on Jul 11th, 2006Class Reunion Hook-Ups (Got a Videocam?)

Class reunions have gone high tech. Instead of digging out that old facebook, which somebody has hopefully digitized and put online, reunion staff are distributing emails so classmates can catch up BEFORE they get to the class reunion. So if you have an old crush that still gets you hot, why not send her a streaming video link. It’s not cheating if you keep it virtual, is it?

As Claremont High School’s class of 1976 geared up for its 30-year reunion today, the teenagers who went on to become teachers, cops, car salesmen, lawyers, architects and pilots reconnected over the last couple of months with technology none of us could have imagined then — and all of us take for granted today. A couple hundred of us are in touch on the Internet.
