If you’re over 75, then the clot-preventing drug warfarin works better at preventing strokes than aspirin for those who suffer from atrial fibrillation. The bad news: I suspect warfarin costs a hell of a lot more than aspirin. Drug companies are only going to get richer in the coming years with so many Baby Boomers entering old age. Maybe if we elect younger senators and congressman they won’t be so prone to drug company lobbyists. Har, har.
