The cost of milk is going up, up, up. For years farmers pleaded for higher prices and now they have them, but so do we, the consuming public. As a kid, milk came free, courtesy of momma; she was an all-you-can-drink milk dispenser that might even sing a little until the hunger subsided and it was time for a nap.
Kelly Klein, Calvin Klein’s ex-wife, has a hunger to be a momma. She’s 50, though, so making one from scratch is a little difficult. She solved her problem by hiring a surrogate mother. This is the 21st Century after all. She even donated one of her own eggs for the adventure. Fertility specialists point out the odds of her donating an egg at that age is one percent or less. Hmmmm….
Milk prices go up. Kelly Klein ages. A mystery egg suddenly gets fertilized in another woman’s womb. The sperm donor goes unnamed. Our guess: the milk farmer did it…in the sperm-shaped pool.
