If you thought getting out of a bed this morning was tough, imagine living in Zambia where seniors are “either shunned by communities as witchcraft practitioners or, with little or no understanding of the disease, are burdened with caring for HIV/AIDS orphans.” That’s reality, my friends. I guess the missionaries have encountered some trouble with converting Zambians. Not to worry. Religion has a way of bumping beliefs out of the way to make room for its own dogma.
