Film director Francis Ford Coppola finally got off his vineyard ass and directed a new movie called Youth Without Youth. Daily Variety says the story is about “an elderly professor whose miraculous return to youth offers the chance to complete his magnum opus and rediscover lost love.” Sounds inviting. The trailer offers up some Asian references, a pocket watch, and a woman in lingerie. We’re game. It has to be better than most of the crap peddled these days based on inane ideas that make a dog pissing on a fire hydrant actually seem vastly more entertaining.
