Writers make up all kinds of stories that usually have some factual basis. The rule of thumb is that if you can think it up, then it’s probably happened somewhere or will shortly. I’m not sure anyone would have come up with this scenario though. A kid’s mother dies so he moves in with an older woman…check, a lot older woman. He falls in love with her, they get married, and then she dies. True story. No word on whether the woman had a pretty estate which may have caught his passing fancy moments before he fell in love…and does anyone know if this qualifies for the Guinness Book of World Records for the biggest spread between a married couple???
