If you thought that “stimulus” program from the Bush Administration had something to do with restoring the economic power of the United States, then you may as well pack your bags and flee to Mexico, because “the seniors left out will be those of low income who rely solely or mostly on Social Security benefits, and who have no taxable income or wages.” Got that! If you’re broke, living off Federal funds, and have no steady source of income any more then basically you’re worthless to the Bush PR machine.
The goal of this administration, as in the past, is to talk the talk but run not walk from solving problems. This being an election year, you can bet your ass Federal money will be handed out like Halloween candy…the problem: the country is a monetary diabetic suffering under the cash drain of the Iraq fiasco et al. At least the program will be true to most rebate rewards: you fill out the form and wait for what usually seems like weeks and weeks and weeks, only to discover you forgot to follow all the rules…so you’re disqualified.
